Gaich Farm

Gaich Farm is a working farm and lies just 1 mile from the banks of the river Spey and is therefore an ideal place to stay for anglers . It sits in the Cairngorms National Park and is surrounded by natural beauty and stunning wildlife. Caich Farm is a perfect place to tour the highlands and is popular with anglers, walkers, and cyclist. For the golf enthusiast, Graggan Golf Course is a five minute walk and there are 4 other golf courses in the surrounding area. It is only 2 miles from the historic town of Grantown on Spey and 15 minutes from Aviemore.

The Farm runs 120 Limousin cows, running with Limousin bulls, calves are sold ten to twelve months old.

We also run 900 Blackface and Swaledale cross ewes, which go to Blackface, Swaledale and Blueface tups (rams), from which 350 mule ewe lambs are sold every year.

 



 
  

Balnacriue Cottage

Balnacruie is a single story self contained cottage set in it’s own grounds just 3 miles from Boat of Garten and 5 miles from Grantown on Spey. Overlooking the Cairngorms it is also situated in the Cairngorms National Park and enjoys excellent views. Only 600 metres from the Speyside Heather Centre and just minutes from Osprey Centre there is stunning wildlife all around, you can watch deer and squirrels from the garden. It is an ideal place for those who want to tour the Highlands, whether it’s for golfing and fishing, cycling and hiking or even skiing in the nearby resorts, Balnacruie is perfect.

Both properties are in an area were there is plenty to see and do, having the Kingussie Wildlife Park, Rothiemurchus, the Malt Whisky Trail and the Strathspey Steam Railway to name a few
